The Baltic Mill

The tower of the abandoned Baltic Mill in the Balic section in <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100206210000" title="Sprague" href="/topic/us/connecticut/new-london-county/sprague-PLGEO100100206210000.topic">Sprague</a>. It was at one time, briefly, the largest cotton mill in the Western Hemisphere. The building was severely damaged in a fire in 1999.
