( Doug Stewart CTnow.com / April 24, 2012 ) In November 2011, six Estonians were arrested and their servers were seized. They were running DNS changing viruses, variously known as TDSS, Alureon, TidServ and TDL4 viruses. The FBI replaced the servers with the idea that people would be notified of the problem and eventually repair their computers. The replacement servers will be taken offline July 9, 2012. |
