Trumble and her mother are from Colombia, and Trumble led a prayer in Spanish for the congregation. The church, at 11833 Greenhill Drive, celebrated Pentecost with a service in Spanish and English. Mackey shared her experiences from a January mission trip to Cuba. She traveled with 15 other elders and pastors from Baltimore Presbytery for a week to spend time with 16 elders and pastors from the Iglesia Presbiterian-Reformada of Cuba. An international tasting party and cultural exchange followed worship. People from the Philippines, Cameroon, Togo and the Dominican Republic shared stories from their respective countries. Participants also participated in an African-style dance.
