Democratic gubernatorial candidate Dan Malloy knows the union vote will very likely make the difference in his tense primary fight with <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="hpp3910" title="Ned Lamont" href="/topic/politics/ned-lamont-hpp3910.topic">Ned Lamont</a>.
