Icelandair announced Friday that seasonal flights between and Reykjavik will begin next Spring.

The airline said non-stop service twice a week begins between Iceland and Anchorage May 15, 2013 through mid-September 2013.

In a news release, the company said the flight will take about 7 hours and use Keflavik International Airport as the hub.

St. Petersburg Russia and Zurich, Switzerland were also added as new routes.
