ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
The body of a man believed to be in his mid-30's was found Saturday afternoon in midtown Anchorage, according to the Anchorage Police Department.
The body was found at about 3:30 p.m. near 36th Ave. and Springer Street.
Lt. Dave Parker, APD spokesperson, said police believe the man and his girlfriend were drinking in the area and fell asleep but the man did not wake up.
Police are investigating the death but said it does not appear to be suspicious. The man's name has not been released.
