In Talkeetna officials are still concerned about drinking water.
The Mat Su Borough says the Talkeetna sewer treatment plant was not breeched but they still need to check all the water lines running through the city.
Until that is complete they are advising everyone to boil their tap water to avoid drinking water contaminated with bacterial infections like giardia, also known as beaver fever.
For people with wells they advise residents go a step further than just boiling their water and have it tested. The borough is even providing free test kits to residents.
"Better safe than sorry, boil your drinking water. Nobody wants to get that bacterial infection," said Mat Su Burough Public Information officer Jackielee Fenster.
You can call the borough to find out where the closest pick up location is for a free water test kit.
