Petersburg is losing a restaurant.
KFSK reports (http://is.gd/XWyXuk) that the Petersburg Indian Association-owned Seaside House will close March 1.
The group's administrator, Bruce Jones, says there isn't enough business to keep the restaurant open.
The restaurant opened about two years ago, and the Petersburg Indian Association spent several hundred thousand dollars renovating its building on Sing Lee Alley Bridge.
Jones just recently returned to work as the association's administrator. He had been hired last summer but fired shortly after when Tribal Council members took issue with his decision to fire an employee. January elections changed the makeup of the council, and the new body rehired Jones.
