"The Choice": This new Fox show takes a cue from -- or a jab at -- NBC's singing competition series "The Voice" with its updated version of "The Dating Game." Hosted by Cat Deeley ("So You Think You Can Dance"), "The Choice" puts four eligible celebrities in rotating chairs, allowing them to hear but not see suitors in the "Blind Round." When a celeb's interest is piqued, he or she tugs on the "love handle" -- that's not a euphemism -- to get a glimpse. And just as in "The Voice," should multiple celebrities spin their chairs, they must try to persuade the contestant to choose them. Actor Dean Cain, former"American Idol" winner Taylor Hicks, andMike "The Situation" Sorrentino are among the star-studded love seekers. (Fox, June 7)
