Broken stairway

A broken stairway clings to a cliff that collapsed onto the beach at 1500 Neptune Ave. in Encinitas, Calif. The homeowner, Barbara Lynch, was distraught over the damage but said, "If it all goes tomorrow, at least I've enjoyed my 30 years here."
