( Murray Close / Lionsgate ) Jennifer Lawrence is not a waif. But to say that the actress didn't look hungry enough to star in "The Hunger Games" is not only insulting, it's ridiculous. She may not look like some of her fellow Hollywood stick figures, but she's still absolutely thin. Yet, some movie critics complained that the actress had too many womanly curves (or too much baby fat, depending on whose perspective you read) to play the part of Katniss Everdeen. The message to women: If you're not starving, you're not good enough. |
