In a tough ending to an outstanding season, the 9th ranked UAA volleyball team lost Saturday's NCAA Division II championship match to #1 Concordia-St. Paul 25-19, 25-12, 25-12 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Sophomore Chrisalyn Johnson slammed 17 kills and freshman Diana Fa'amausili contributed 13 to lift the 9th ranked Seawolf volleyball team to an NCAA Division II semifinal win over Palm Beach Atlantic on Friday, 25-16, 19-25, 25-17, 25-22.
After dropping the opening set, the sixth-seeded UAA volleyball team stormed back to defeat third-seeded Angelo State 14-25, 25-22, 27-25, 25-16 to earn a spot in the NCAA Division II semifinals for the first time in program history.
