An Aberdeen woman has admitted to two charges of unauthorized possession of prescription painkillers.

Mariah L. Potts, 20, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of Percocet and one count of possession of methadone. She was sentenced to three years probation and 75 days in jail and fined $1,208. She must also make $517 in restitution for testing costs and was granted a suspended imposition of sentence. That means the charges won't go on her record if she follows probation rules. She must continue aftercare.

Each count is a felony punishable by as many as 10 years in state prison and a $20,000 fine.

Third DUI

Jeremy D. Eppard, 33, of Aberdeen was sentenced to 75 days in jail after pleading guilty to a third drunken driving charge in a 10-year span. A two-year prison term was suspended.

Eppard must also pay a $704 fine and make restitution of $75 for testing costs. He must continue aftercare.

The crime is a felony punishable by as many as two years in state prison and a $4,000 fine.
