South Dakota State University Extension will host a two-day drainage design and water management workshop in Aberdeen at the Ramkota on Wednesday and Thursday (Feb. 27 and 28).
This hands-on workshop will focus on the planning and design of agricultural tile drainage systems to meet both business and environmental objectives, according to a news release.
Workshop topics will include legal aspects, basics of soil drainage, agronomic perspectives, doing your own tiling, land evaluation tools and conservation drainage.
