Avera St. Luke's diabetes support group will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Avera St. Luke's Education Center, 709 Sixth Ave. S.E.
St. Luke's pharmacist Kim Henrich and pharmacy student Cavan Wihelm will present the program "Diabetes and Medications."
Common diabetes medication will be reviewed as well as newer drugs.
The free support group meets the first Thursday of each month. Its goals include developing educational methods designed to give those with diabetes a better understanding of their condition.
