An attorney says Joe Miller is working to comply with a request to turn over all records the he either produced or received during his tenure with the Fairbanks North Star Borough.
John Tiemessen says Miller routinely copied for himself e-mails related to his work as a part-time borough attorney. Tiemessen says Miller is searching through thousands of e-mails and printing out those pertinent to his work. He says isn't sure when the task will be finished.
The borough has said Miller's inbox was emptied when he resigned last year and that about 15,000 e-mails had been recovered.
A Dec. 10 borough letter to Miller's attorneys, obtained by The Associated Press, demanded "any and all records" -- including written memos of conversations.
