KENAI, Alaska—
An early Wednesday morning earthquake shook the Kenai Peninsula area.The quake happened around 4:50 a.m. and measured a 4.4 magnitude, according to the Alaska Earthquake Information Center.
It was centered 15 miles south of Sterling with a depth of 36.5 miles.
There were no initial reports of damage.
