Alaska to Receive $1M from Japan for Tsunami Debris Cleanup
Alaska will receive $1 million from Japan for cleanup of debris from the country's 2011 tsunami, as part of a $6 million appropriation for the task to the U.S. and Canada. The state's congressional delegation praises the effort, but says more needs to be done by the U.S. government.
