Alaska's unemployment rate has hit its lowest level since last spring, falling slightly to 7.3 percent in November.
The state labor department says that compares to 7.4 percent in October, and 7.9 percent in November 2010.
The state last saw its seasonally adjusted unemployment at 7.3 percent in April and May. That is the lowest level of unemployment in Alaska since February 2009, when the rate stood at 7.2 percent.
Nationally, unemployment stood at 8.6 percent in November.
The labor department says it appears 2011 will be a year of mild job growth in the state.
