Suspect Surrenders in Merrill Field Inn Officer-Involved Shooting

Anchorage police say a suspect in an officer-involved shooting was arrested and taken to the hospital under police escort Thursday afternoon, following an exchange of fire with APD officers at the Merrill Field Inn at 420 Sitka St. An APD officer suffered a graze wound to the back, while the suspect was hit in the right arm.
