Anchorage Police Seek Help to Identify Armed Robbery Suspect

Anchorage police are seeking the public’s aid to identify a suspect in the May 5 robbery of an East Anchorage gas station.

Surveillance video shows a lone man entering the Holiday station on the 1400 block of Bragaw Street and demanding money from the clerks at gunpoint. The robber then ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is believed to be a black man between 20 and 30 years old with a thin build, standing between 6 feet, 2 inches and 6 feet, 4 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a light gray “Members Only” style jacket, a dark-colored hoodie, dark gray sweatpants and white-and-dark tennis shoes, with dark glasses and a light-colored mask covering his eyes and mouth.
