An Anchorage man and woman were sentenced in federal court for drug-trafficking crimes on Tuesday.
35-year-old Sarah Johnson 40-year-old Willie Johnson were sentenced for selling crack cocaine and powder cocaine from their home where minor children also lived.
Sarah Johnson was sentenced to 3 years and 9 months in prison for possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute. Willie Johnson was sentenced to 5 years in prison for conspiracy in relation to controlled-substance trafficking.
The investigation seized 74.7 grams of crack cocaine and 52.9 grams of powder cocaine, digital scales to weigh the drugs, and over $2,500 in cash at the Johnson’s residence.
According to court documents, Sarah and Willie Johnson have prior convictions from the State of Alaska for drug-dealing offenses, in addition to other criminal convictions.
