ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
The Anchorage Police Department arrested an additional suspect on Tuesday for a stabbing that took place in Mountain View on Sunday morning.Police arrested 23-year-old Nicholas Moore for his connection with the stabbing assault and stabbing of 56-year-old Thomas Atkinson.
Atkinson died Tuesday morning at a local hospital.
APD allege that 21-year-old Richard Smith and Moore were drinking with Atkinson and his girlfriend on the 700 block of North Flower Street.
Smith surrendered on Sunday night and was arraigned on Monday for second-degree and fourth-degree assault.
Moore will be arraigned Wednesday afternoon on one count of first-degree assault.
