Anchorage police are conducting a search in the Downtown area for two armed men, including one reportedly wearing a bandana and carrying a rifle, who conducted a home-invasion robbery with injuries at a Mountain View apartment Thursday afternoon.
APD spokesperson Anita Shell says police were called to the scene of the robbery, an apartment complex on the 800 block of North Bliss Street, at 2:25 p.m. Police had confirmed that injuries occurred during the robbery, but Shell didn’t have immediate details on their number or extent.
The men subsequently fled the scene in an unidentified vehicle, prompting a major APD search for the suspects.
