A 20-year-old Fairbanks man jailed on a 2011 murder arrest has been charged with two robberies.

Jacques Lisbey was arraigned Monday on charges of robbing two gas stations in July 2011.

He was charged less than a week later with first-degree murder in the shooting death Aug. 1, 2011, of Michael Moore, a friend.

Prosecutors contend Lisbey killed Moore because a woman told him that Moore threatened to kill her and her family.

Prosecutors say a ski mask and a rifle connected to the robberies were found in his rental room.

The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports Lisbey's attorney is seeking a court order to force prosecutors to hand over police reports about Moore or Lisbey that might help her client.
