Man Wanted for Child Pornography Turns Himself In

APD has issued a warrant for Jason Fagan Alexander for possessing and distributing child pornography.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska—

A man wanted for possession and distribution of child pornography turned himself in to Anchorage police at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night, according to APD spokesperson Lt. Dave Parker.

Jeremiah Fagan Alexander, a 30-year-old Anchorage resident, was facing two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography.

Images and videos of victims ranging from infants to late-teenagers were found on Alexander's computer, which was seized on a search warrant after a February investigation by APD Cyber Crimes Unit detectives.

The scary part is we have recently discovered numerous sexual predators within law enforcement, government, and the churches around Alaska. Most of these people were employed for a decade or more. Its awesome we are starting to overturn the rocks, and ignore the ideological hype that the uniform makes the man. I truely believe this system of good ol boys has been around for much longer, and we are only seeing the tip of the ice berg. If we have predators in law enforcement, then we have a serious problem

I am sorry for freinds and family of Jeremiah, but that's it. I have met him on several occasions and would never have suspected him of something so fowl, but you never would.

Cyber crimes take the "accedental" downloads into account when going through a seized computer, but when the numbers start esscalating it is ruled out. He had to have quite the liabrary to be charged.

Just because he turned himself in doesn't prove innocence, possibly looking for sympathy. Let's face it, even if you know him very well, that doesn't mean you know everything, this isn't the sort of thing one flaunts in front of people, or even mentions. So why would you think this is the sort of thing he was up to? You wouldn't! So saying he isn't the type is only that, saying he isn't the type.

How is what KTUU reported libel? If you look on the Alaska Court View website you see that he has in fact been charged with the counts KTUU mentioned, so that is fact. If you look at the service record it shows that when KTUU published this article he had still not been served/found, so that is also fact. If his computer had been seized by the police (which I would believe if he was charged) then none of us can say that they did not find what KTUU had claimed was on there, so that is probable or even likely. Outside of telling us the facts which can be substanciated with little effort the claims that KTUU is saying that he is a pedophile are a bunch of his friends reading in between the lines and saying that something is being reported that isn't. I appreciate the desire to defend a friend but to attack somebody for reporting an inconvenient truth puts society at rish of further crimes. Should we demonize every person that comes forward to report a crime? Is the dignity of a likely perpatrator more important than the sexual security and dignity of a minor? The APD and DA rarely prosecute the inocent and they almost never go after anybody at random. If the DA can't prove INTENT then they do not go after them, the office is too over worked to go after cases they can't win and that is a fact.
