ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
Alaska State Troopers busted a Ketchikan man Sunday morning for possession of black tar heroin.
22-year-old Jonathon Oaksmith was allegedly caught with 2 ounces of heroin around 7 a.m. Sunday at the ferry terminal in Ketchikan.
The street value of that much heroin is worth $28,345 in Ketchikan, according to troopers.
The investigation falls under the Alaska Bureau of Investigation's Southeast Alaska Cities Against Drugs (SEACAD) task force after being called out by troopers.
Oaksmith was taken to the Ketchikan jail without bail.
