SOLDOTNA, Alaska—
A Michigan man driving with his wife died in a head-on collision Monday evening involving rental vehicles at Mile 72.5 of the Sterling Highway, according to Alaska State Troopers.Troopers said 52-year-old Richard Price of Michigan died on scene when 27-year-old Joshua Millstein of Florida crossed into the northbound lane and struck Price’s vehicle around 8:44 p.m. Monday.
Millstein was driving a Chevy Equinox with Rosa Gonzales, 30 of Florida, and both suffered minor injuries.
Troopers said the vehicles were totaled and the highway was routed around Skilak Lake Road during the initial traffic investigation.

Text: On 6-11-12 at about 2044 HRS AST Soldotna Dispatch was notified of
an MVC-Fatality at mile 72.5 Sterling Highway. Investigation revealed
that Richard Price (52-year old male from Michigan) had died on scene as
a result of a head-on collision between his rental vehicle, a blue 2012
Nissan Versa AK plate GGT933, and another rental vehicle, a silver 2011
Chevy Equinox AK plate GFW518. The decedent's wife, Diane Price
(58-years old from Michigan) was also in the Nissan Versa and was flown
by Life Med to Central Peninsula Hospital with reportedly serious
injuries. The two occupants of the Equinox, passenger Rosa Gonzales
(30-years old from Florida) and driver Joshua Millstein (27-years old
