A Glenn Highway three-vehicle crash near Eklutna shortly before 5 p.m. Friday left at least one person injured and northbound traffic temporarily backed up to at least Peters Creek.
APD spokesperson Lt. Dave Parker says the crash involved two pickup trucks and a car. At least one man, the driver of a dark pickup truck, was medevaced by air ambulance, but Parker didn’t believe there were any fatalities in the incident.
Officers were unsure whether the highway’s northbound lanes were closed or down to one lane.
According to reports from drivers in the area, one car was overturned across the northbound lanes and at least one pickup was in the ditch.
