Children go out through window
Two young children, one of them a 4-year-old girl with autism, went missing for nearly a half-hour after going out of a window in a home in the 500 block of Tangerine Drive on Monday.
The mother told dispatchers about 8:20 a.m., that she had last seen the children about 8 a.m., looked all over the house, and believed the children “may have gone out the window,” according to the logs.
The bedroom window was open, and the 4-year-old had gone out the window before, the mother reported.
The mother reportedly asked neighbors if they had seen the child, but it was the father who found the children walking down the street about 8:26 a.m.
Police advised the father to secure the bedroom window with an alarm.
