Kenai police say they have arrested three women on prostitution charges after officers investigated a local massage business.
The Peninsula Clarion reports (http://bit.ly/URQLi9) that 49-year-old Karen Carpenter was arrested for investigation of sex trafficking and prostitution. Carpenter operated Gifted Hands Massage and police alleged that two women employed there offered sex for money.
Officers also arrested 19-year-old Madison Murrieta of Kenai for misdemeanor prostitution and issued a summons to 20-year-old Jonah Lange of Ninilchik for the same charge.
Police said investigation in the case is ongoing.
