JUNEAU, Alaska—
A 38-year-old Ketchikan man will serve three years in a federal prison following his conviction for drug trafficking.
The U.S. attorney's office says in a release that Travis E. Straight was sentenced Friday at the federal court in Juneau.
Authorities say he arranged with co-conspirators in Seattle to use a commercial package delivery service to ship 405 grams of heroin to Ketchikan.
Officials say he paid for the drugs with proceeds from previous sales.
Straight has been in jail since May after pleading guilty to related state charges in the case.
