ANCHORAGE, Alaska—

Update: The Anchorage Police Department has identified the victim of Thursday's fatal crash as 60-year-old James Finn.

He was killed in a single vehicle rollover crash in Eagle River Thursday morning, according to APD.

Lt. Dave Parker, APD Public Information Officer, confirmed that Finn died in a crash that happened around 11:30 a.m. at mile 3.5 of Hiland Road.

Lt. Parker said he was driving a white Ford Ranger pickup truck and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Hiland Road at River View was blocked for a few hours and reopened shortly after 2 p.m.

Editor's note:On Thursday, the age of the victim has been updated from initial reports with information from the Associated Press. On Friday, Anchorage police released the age and identity of the crash victim.
