The Anchorage Fire Department responded Tuesday morning to a residential structure fire in West Anchorage.

AFD said occupants reported hearing a loud boom before flames burned the structure near the 3600 block of Aldren Circle.

AFD's Spenard unit were first on the scene along with additional units.

There were no injuries reported and it is unknown how much damage was caused by the fire.

The Red Cross has helped with a family that has been displaced, according to Katie Bender, with the American Red Cross of Alaska.
