ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
Two members of the military were injured after gunshots were fired at a local party early Sunday morning.According to Anchorage police, gunshots were fired at about 3 a.m when a fight broke out at a large military party on Larkspur Circle, possibly including members of the Army and Air Force.
Officials say one service member was hit twice in the arm and another one was hit in the knee. The injuries are not life-threatening, and both people were treated at local hospitals.
“It began as quite a large party and then descended into a physical confrontation of some sort, and then ultimately shots were fired,” said APD spokesperson Lt. Dave Parker.
It’s still unclear if the shooters are also in the military. APD said no suspects were in custody Sunday.
