U.S. Marshals say they busted a man in Anchorage wanted for aggravated kidnapping and first-degree murder in Memphis, Tenn.

U.S. Marshal Randy Coyne says marshals, along with the Alaska Fugitive Task Force, arrested 30-year-old David Burrows Tuesday evening.

"It was largely uneventful," Coyne said.  "It appears he was not expecting it at all.  He gave us no trouble whatsoever."

They found him in an apartment complex parking lot off of 56th avenue near Lake Otis Parkway, though marshals say he did not live there.

Marshals say Burrows is one of Tennessee's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives, accused of kidnapping and beating to death 24-year-old Marquita Adams in May.

Marshals say Burrows is currently at the Anchorage jail, and will be facing a federal judge here for a new charge of Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution, before being sent back to Memphis.
