ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
Federal prosecutors say an Anchorage grand jury has indicted seven people associated with a conspiracy to distribute oxycodone in Fairbanks, including some in custody.Indicted Sept. 20 for conspiracy to distribute were 31-year-old Wilbert Barber, 23-year-old Dante Whitley, 24-year-old Alex Kurth, 23-year-old Justin Shepard, 26-year-old Shane Tufford, 27-year-old Lennon Duncan and 26-year-old Kelly Kilker.
Barber, Whitley, Shepard, and Kilker also face a money laundering count.
Prosecutors say the oxycodone was imported, sold and distributed in Fairbanks from September 2008 to September 2010.
All suspects are in custody except Whitley.
