ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
Friends and family members are keeping the memory of T.R.E.L. Zawko alive with artwork.
Zawko, 21, was found dead in his garage on January 18. Anchorage police ruled Zawko's death as a homicide.
The Service High School Partners Club dedicated a Star Wars-themed ice sculpture to Zawko, who was a Star Wars fanatic, and many of the 21-year-old's family and friends have gotten tattoos or created art in his honor.
Zawko's mother, Dottie Kessler, said in an e-mail to Channel 2 that she "hopes the person responsible is brought to justice."
