The Anchorage Museum is taking submissions from artists for a biennial exhibition.
Submissions for "Earth, Fire & Fibre XXIV" will be accepted until July 1.
Museum officials say the popular juried art exhibit was created to encourage Alaska artists to work in craft materials including clay, wood, and fiber.
The exhibit is scheduled to open October 6 and run through January 5, 2014, with the winner of the Juror's Choice Award receiving a $1,000 prize.
The exhibit will tour the state after it closes in Anchorage.
