ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
Anchorage police say an 11-year-old boy missing since Tuesday evening was found safely Wednesday afternoon.
APD spokesperson Anita Shell says officers found Nathan Turpin unharmed at about 2:20 p.m., at a friend’s house on Scottie Court in Oceanview.
Turpin had been last heard from Tuesday when he called a friend at 5 p.m. Turpin's aunt, who lives with him, says she was in the shower when he slipped a note under the door saying that he was running away.
