ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
Anchorage police say a male driver was critically injured in a two-car collision in South Anchorage at about 7:15 Sunday night.
Police say the crash happened across from the Dimond Center on Dimond Blvd. Officials say the driver, who was trying to fix a broken trailer he was towing, was standing behind it when a second driver ran into him, pinning him between the front of her car and the trailer. According to police, she was not able to see the man because the sun was in her eyes.
APD says the man suffered severe leg injuries and was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. It is unknown if the other driver will be cited.
