ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A local business owner is dealing with one big headache after an SUV slammed into his barber shop Wednesday.

It happened around 2 p.m. at Han's Barber Shop on West Fireweed.

Police say the driver of the SUV was pulling in to park, but his foot slipped off of the brake pedal and onto the gas.

Contractors showed up at the barber shop to begin cleaning up the mess so they can board up the barber shop for the night.

"The structural damage is the cement retaining wall, and then the glass curtail wall was taken out. You can see part of the structure here that's been damaged. So it's pretty significant damage," said insurance agent Herb Schlerath.

No one was hurt in the accident.

Police issued the driver a citation.
