The countdown for voter registration has begun, according to the Department of Motor Vehicles in Anchorage, there's only 8 days left to register in the state.
If you plan on voting in the upcoming elections in November then you'll need to register.
All changes regarding your address, name, or party affiliation must be done 30 days prior to an election.
The state of Alaska Division of Elections has office hours Monday through Friday or you can visit their website to register. You can also stop into your local DMV.
