Galena Police Chief John Havard tells Channel 2 News two badly burned bodies discovered after a massive Friday night house fire were found at the home of local radio station general manager Terry Fair and his wife Kim.
Alaska State Trooper spokesperson Tim DeSpain says a Deputy Fire Marshal investigating the fire originally discovered the bodies Saturday.
Havard says becuase of the body's conditions the victim's identities have been unable to be determined, and it remains unclear whether the victims could be Flair and his wife.
However, one of Fair's co-workers at the radio station is certain Fair, and his wife Kim died in the blaze.
"Utter shock," said KIYU Operations Manager Jeremy Scott.
"I spoke to one of his (Fair) next door neighbors and he told me he was just sitting in his living room and heard a loud explosion," said Scott.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
Scott says the Fairs moved to Galena from Texas and have a son in Oregon.
