FAIRBANKS, Alaska—
Fairbanks has something new and special just in time for Christmas.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner says that the city has a brand new snow blower with corkscrew blades.
City Public Works Director Michael Smetzer says Fairbanks is proud of its $330,000 snow blower.
The easy-to-operate and more fuel-efficient machine was manufactured by Idaho-based Kodiak America. It is the latest addition to the city's fleet of snow removal equipment.
