KETCHIKAN, Alaska—
A change-of-plea hearing for former Ketchikan mayor Jack Shay has been scheduled for Monday.Shay's attorney asked Superior Court Judge William Carey for the hearing on Friday, indicating a deal has been reached with the Ketchikan District Attorney's office.
No details of an agreement were discussed Friday.
Shay is the former mayor of both the city and the Ketchikan Gateway Borough. He was arrested in November and remains jailed.
Police say he took his computer and printer to a repair shop and employees found child pornography on the machine and a homemade video was found showing John "Jack" W. Shay with a pre-pubescent female.
