Alaska State Troopers say they have seized a methamphetamine laboratory that was being operated in the southeast Alaska village of Hoonah (HOO'-na).
The Juneau Empire (http://bit.ly/UYhPQi) reports troopers arrested 49-year-old Gary Chamblin of Hoonah and an Oregon man, David B. Pierce.
They are charged with felony drug misconduct.
Troopers responded at the request of the Hoonah Police Department.
Four members of the Southeast Alaska Cities Against Drugs on Thursday removed processed methamphetamine and chemicals that are used to manufacture it from a commercial storage facility in the village.
Hoonah is a Tlingit community of 753 on Chichagof (CHICH'-a-goff) Island about 40 miles west of Juneau.
