ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP)—
A Ketchikan man is facing 98 felonies in connection with charges that he drugged and sexually assaulted a girl dozens of times.Troopers say 36-year-old Jake Anderson has been released from a Seattle hospital for treatment of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His bail has been set at $1 million.
Alaska State Troopers say the girl's mother contacted troopers in Ketchikan to say she suspected her daughter was being drugged by Anderson. Troopers say they found videos of Anderson engaging in sex acts on or near the girl while she slept.
Charges say the abuse took place between January 2009 and June 2012.
Troopers say the girl, now 16, apparently was unaware of the sexual abuse that took place.
