A man was shot and killed in an argument at a home north of Willow.

Alaska State Troopers say 61-year-old Ronald Gunter was struck in the head when a man he was arguing with pulled out a pistol.

Troopers told the Anchorage Daily News (http://bit.ly/su0kTc) that the man fired a single shot Sunday night, apparently in an attempt to try and put a stop to the fight.

Prosecutors reviewed the case and made a preliminary decision not to arrest the suspected shooter.

Troopers say the investigation is continuing.
