JUNEAU, Alaska (AP)—
A memorial service has been scheduled for May 19 for the late-state Rep. Carl Gatto.The House Majority caucus, in a news release, announced the service would take place May 19 at the Lazy Mountain Bible Church in Palmer. Additional details about the program are expected to be released as the event nears.
The family held a private funeral last month.
Gatto died April 10 from complications related to cancer. He was 74.
Gatto's family has said that any donations can be sent to The Children's-Place, a nonprofit organization that addresses child abuse and neglect, the Prostate Cancer Foundation, or local animal shelters
